Harford County has a long and rich tradition of farming, and that tradition continues in the farmers' markets which are just now starting up for the year:

Bel Air Farmers' Market, Mary Risteau Courthouse Building, Bond & Thomas Streets, Bel Air, MD. One block off of Main Street, this market is situated in the courthouse parking lot and features fresh produce, fruit, flowers, plants, beef, chicken, pork, lamb, eggs and specialty products. Runs from April thru October, Saturday, 7-11 AM.

Edgewood Farmers' Market, 1918 Pulaski Highway, Edgewood, MD. This market is located at the intersection of Paul Martin Drive & Pulaski Highway, behind Walgreens. Stop by and check out the plentiful selection of fruits, vegetables, crafts, local specialties and organic food. Runs from May thru October, Thursday, 3-6 PM.

Havre de Grace Farmers' Market, Hutchins Park, Havre de Grace, MD. Runs from May thru October, Saturdays, 9 AM--Noon.Experience the best of Maryland's farms at the HdG Farmers Market, featuring a full selection of fresh picked fruit & vegetables, farm raised meats & eggs, baked breads & treats, cheese, ice cream, honey, cooking oil, artisan products, and artwork.
